Q: Bottom Line about WheelsNext.com?
I’ve read some pretty negatively informative reviews concerning Wheels Next and their customer service and the way they do business. I would like some input from anyone who has had experience with them or heard stories like me. I know every company has its flaws but they seem to have a consistent amount of problems based on the reviews I’ve read.

Any info is much appreciated. Thank you!

A: my answer is try to visit on this site http://www.autozone.com/ it’s help

Q: Could somebody give me a link to where I can buy some wheels for my bike like this?
http://reviews.walmart.com/1336/4232166/20-boys-next-enforcer-freestyle-bike-reviews/reviews.htm

A: http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=bmx+mag+wheels

Q: what kind of backpack/for person with hairline back fracture?
do you know if a wheel backpack would be ok? The ones you pull and they roll. I have a 14 yr old with a possible hairline fracture of the spine. I sent him back to school today, but he needs something other than the backpack he has now. Its too heavy. He has his MRI review next Monday. So I wont be able to consult the doctor until then.

A: When there is any question with the spine, it is always best to keep it away from excessive stress and strain. So if that back pack is getting to heavy switch to those ones that roll on the ground with the handle…..you know the ones that look like a mini suit case. that way there will be Zero danger to the spine ok

Good luck and I wish you the best

Q: on a 2 stroke dirt bike what is the top and bottom end?
i erad reviews of it all the time saying the top end is great but lacks bottom end if somebody could just describe what these are because i am getting a 2001 cr 125 next week also ive ridden many four strokes but the biggest is a crf150f and im wondering how much more powerful this thing is going to be? is the powerband going to flip me or just pull up the front wheel?

A: The reviews you are reading are referring to speed, not parts. Top end speed is the higher gears, bottom is the lower gears. The 125 is a 2 stroke, so its going to have a really narrow powerband compared to a 4 stroke…they have a lot of power compared to the crf150f. If you have experience riding, and have some throttle control, you’ll be fine….dont worry about flipping, but just know, that if you rap the throttle on it…it will GO. If you want a wheelie, it will definitely give you them on command!

The first post is referring to top end and bottom end repairs, and parts of the motor.

Q: Trying to find my next car. MUST be AWD/4WD, Sedan/Coupe, 1998 – 2004?
I am a Honda owner and I’ve had my 1998 Honda Civic Ex Coupe (2DR) for 2 years. I love my car.
4 cylinder 1.6 liter, 180 horsepower.

The problem is that it does not have all wheel drive. I need a car that has good gas mileage (30 – 40 mpg), and all wheel drive, or “4 wheel drive”. It MUST be a sedan or coupe, and I am seeing that the prices that my pocket is happy with is for the years between 1998 and 2004.

I am looking in the following Makes:

Honda
Toyota
Mazda
Volkswagen
Subaru

At first I was looking at the Subaru Impreza’s, but there are so many different models that I can’t figure out what has AWD and what doesn’t, and reviews.

I have seen that the Mazda’s have a few AWD cars, but I don’t know what ones do.

Also looking into the Toyota Matrix but don’t really know too much about Toyota and reviews, or what specific models there are.

The mpg i am trying to achieve is between 30 and 38 mpg highway or more.

Thanks.

A: all Subarus have AWD

Q: Is this a good fantasy series?
I just finished the latest Wheel of time book that came out. I’m really looking forward to the next one but in the meantime I would like to start another series. I’ve been kinda browsing around and I stumbled upon ‘RuneLords’ by David Farland. I’ve read some reviews but I want to know from other sources too. Can anyone tell me if it’s a good series? Thanks!

A: I haven’t read RuneLords, but from what I see on the threads, if you like the Wheel of Time series, you should also like The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind (which I have read).

The Sword of Truth series gets a little bogged down towards The Pillars of Creation, but it’s still an awesome series.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sword_of_Truth

Another good epic series is A Song of Ice & Fire by George RR Martin

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Song_of_Ice_and_Fire

You might also like the Shannara series by Terry Brooks

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shannara

Also the Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn series by Tad Williams

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memory,_Sorrow,_and_Thorn

Hope this helps, sorry I couldn’t answer in regards to the RuneLords. :)
(I’ll have to check them out at the library)

A: Woah! MUCH information. I have a few favourite sites where I go regularly to either get entertained or to find info. The usually have some good deals too. Maybe you can find the answer to your question there. Try the below websites.

Good luck!

Q: robert jordan wheel of time?
Ok I really enjoyed the 1st 6 books of the series(well in parts) but all the reviews for the next few just seem terrible.Should i quit and keep a mostly positive attitude. If the next books more of the same crap about man being wool heads and keep containing less action.I mean i can found out how the series ends with a question to a friend who wont quit reading it(he tells me i should give up the series as it becomes cr@p)

A: I think if you could stick through till the 6th book and still enjoy it, it would be worth your time to finish. The next few are a bit slow too, but no worse than 5 and 6, and Knife of Dreams is very, very good(in my opinion). I think KoD goes back to the first book quality.
I absolutely loove the series and can’t wait for the last book, but I can understand why many people get bored. Still, like I said, if you stuck with it this far, you seem to be one of those people like me who can actually get past the kinda slow parts to the really amazing stuff.
In the end, though, I think the best way to tell is just try reading them and seeing if you like them. Otherwise you’re just gonna get people like me saying “yeah read it it’s great” and people who couldn’t get through book 2 saying “ew no that series blows” but no one can tell you if YOU will like it…

Q: Are rims that are corroding within a three year warranty still covered? I only have 20k miles on it 3yr’s r up
I have an 05 civic coupe, I don’t drive it as much. The car is taken care up and I have only serviced it at the dealership where it was purchased. I have 20k miles on it and the 3 year warranty is coming to an end next week. The wheels started corroding and they told me it was the center logo cap at first then at a better look after the part was ordered, they said the rims were. AFTER FURTHER REVIEW- they said that it was regular wear and tear so out of courtesy they will split the cost 50/50 with me and that it was most likely a chemical from the car wash that wore out the rims. I have friends that have 50k plus on their hondas and their alloy rims are still fine. Can this still be covered I think the rims are defected.

A: Rims are considered cosmetic, so if the factory does anything at all, you should consider yourself lucky. Good luck!

Q: Should I upgrade my daughters bicycle?
I got my daughter a (Pacific Cycles) Schwinn Superstar several years ago, it’s a really good quality 18″ youth BMX bike.

http://www.buzzillions.com/reviews/pacific-cycle-18-girls-schwinn-superstar-bicycle-reviews

She learned to ride on this bike, and is a pro at it now. She’s 7 years old now (8 in February) and even though she’s still well within the size expectations of this particular bike, we like to ride on the Seawall in Galveston occasionally.

Would upgrading her to a 20″ BMX help her out as far as speed/distance at this age, or would the extra torque needed to get the bigger wheels moving combined with the slight weight increase of a larger bike nullify the advantages of moving to a larger wheel size? Quality wise there’s absolutely nothing wrong with her old bike – it’s ready to handle the next 5 kids it will get passed to eventually, and there’s a couple of other little girls I might teach to ride on it. Size wise she should be able to do 18″ or 20″ just fine.

FYI I ride a 24″ Diamondback BMX (about 4 or 5 year models old Lucky 24) and my parents who will join us on occasion are going to be on 26″ cruisers. I obviously can’t move at my normal pace/distance no matter what when any of them are with me, I’m not looking to turn any of them into super speedsters, just help her along a bit.
I am actually better than most parents about maintaining bikes. At her age my dad had already taught me to patch tubes and I was able to do it – granted with variable success at that age. I’ve given her the rundown on tube patching, but she’s not quite ready yet.

I’m thinking this cruiser:

http://www.schwinnbike.com/usa/eng/Products/Kids/Ages-6-9/Details/1764-S11MNSPR-Mini-Sprite

Or possibly this BMX – which is basically a scale-up/repaint of her old one:

http://www.schwinnbike.com/usa/eng/Products/Kids/Ages-6-9/Details/1779-S11STAF-Stardust

I like buying Pacific Cycles/Schwinn for kids, they’re good quality but not insanely priced. High dollar comes once they’re old enough to expect a decade or two of use out of one, in other words when they’re ready to buy their own.
FYI – a 20″ can be forever if that’s what you’re into. I actually went 20″ to 26″ at about 10 back to 20″ at 15 and I kept my 20″ until it was stolen out of my house when I was 28. I only went 24″ because I am of a large build and over the age of 30. Had my 20″ not been stolen I would probably still be on it.

I figure when she’s 12 or so she will be better able to pick her own. As it stands right now she would chose a low quality piece of trash with princesses on it so I’m making the choices until she’s able to look beyond that sort of thing.
The pop-pom were one of her favorite things about the bike, and the shortest lived, they don’t survive kids for long. It’s certainly a good quality bike she has now, not stupid good quality that would be overkill for a kid, but it sure beats a a cheap Wal-Mart Disney princess bike – by far.

If anything I’m hesitant to get the cruiser because it’s too much like an old fart bike. (notice what I said my parents are on) In fact it could be said my bike is a scaled up version of hers, sans streamers and zipper-backpack-basket, the one that was stolen when I was 28 was even chrome like hers, (without the purple parts).

I think I’m going to show her pics of both and ask her which she would prefer.

A: the big thing is rebuilding the front/rear axel bearings and making sure you run good quality tires that will handle 45-50 psi. runing tires at that pressure greatly reduces drag and is the best way to help her out

Q: Which is the Better Mountain Bike? Please Answer :) ?
Question is in the title, pretty simple. It’s going to be my first good MTB.

Option #1-B’twin Rockrider 5.3;don’t be put off by the name. The company is new and so you won’t have heard of them but they already have a great reputation and have especially great reviews on this bike.

Frame: 6061 T4/T6 aluminium. 1.9kg (size L). Sloping. Reinforced tubes. Sport frame, light and responsive. Sloping: sloping top tube to improve handling and stiffness. Same geometry as the series 8 models. Can be fitted with a pannier rack.

Fork/ Shock: Rockrider XCR 100mm Lockout fork by SR Suntour. Light and tough hydraulic fork. Preload and lockout adjustment. 100mm travel, magnesium lowers. The upper tubes are finished to ensure durability.

Drivetrain: Suntour XCM 302 aluminium 22×32x42 chainset. SRAM X-5 9 speed shifters. Shimano C050 front derailleur. SRAM X-5 rear derailleur. SRAM PC951 chain. SRAM cassette. An extra gear (9) so you don’t have to switch chainrings so often, saving time. The SRAM shifters offer perfect ergonomics and impeccable accuracy.

Brakes: Tektro IO cable actuated disc brakes. Tektro TS360 levers.
Handlebars/ StemRockrider oversize 600mm handlebars by JD. Rockrider oversize 6° stem by JD. Aheadset VP A71 headset. Raised and wide handlebars for control at all speeds. Comfortable, narrow saddle for freedom of movement when pedalling on very rough terrain.
Saddle/ Seat post: Rockrider seatpost by JD. Rockrider VIPER saddle by Selle Royal.

Wheels: RIGIDA SPHINX 32 hole rims. Formula DC19/DC22 Disk Ready hubs. Mach1 2mm stainless steel spokes. Sealed bearing hubs, disc brake ready. Double-wall rims for guaranteed solidity.

Tyres: Hutchinson Scorpion Airlight 2.0 tyres. The wide tyres offer the perfect combination of grip and efficiency.

Pedals: Wellgo flat pedals.

The weight is about 13kg for my size.

——————————————————————————-

Option #2: GT aggressor XC3; this is only available in certain online shops and Halfords.

· Frame – GT Triple Triangle

· Forks – Suntour SR XCM V2

· Stem – GT

· Handlebars – GT 6061 MTB Specific

· Rear Mech – Shimano Acera

· Front Mech – Shimano Altus

· Shifters – Shimano

· Brakes – Tektro Auriga Comp (Hydraulic disc brakes)

· Cranks – Suntour Triple

· Cassette – Shimano HG40 8 Speed

· Chain – Shimano HG40 8 speed

· Rims – ASD-1 Alex rims

· Hubs – Unbranded hubs

· Tyres – Heng Shin tyre – 26” x 2.1

· Pedals – Unbranded Flat

· Seatpost – Unbranded

· Saddle – GT Active

· Weight – 15.1kgs.

So the rockrider has better forks (hydraulic and next level up from the aggressors) and I trust the quality more, but the aggressor has the hydraulic brakes but is 2kg heavier. are the hydro brakes worth it?

Thanks
any more suggestions???

A: Rockrider looks pretty good. Contrary to ‘popular’ belief GT’s lower end bikes don’t have a good reputation. I would probably try and have a look at low end Specialized if you can. Got a good review recently in a mag (WMB I think). Get down your local bike shop and see what they have too. You’ll get better after sales support as well most likely (although I can’t guarantee this). Halfords isn’t always that bad if you know what you’re looking at. Just don’t bother taking it back for the free service. I got an (old) GT knocked down from £700 to £300 after I popped in to get some de icer. But that was a stroke of luck.

Q: New long board decision help?
Hi Yahoo answerers… Ive been riding my arbor pocket rocket on the university campus for years, and its starting to degrade (wear and tear), and im looking for a longer board now…

Ive set my mind on the following two: the arbor pin koa, and the fish koa.

pin koa: http://www.arborcollective.com/skate/boards/view/13/pin-koa
fish koa: http://www.arborcollective.com/skate/boards/view/16/fish-koa

the main difference is the lenght, the pin is 46″ vs. the fish which is 38″, the next difference is the wheel base (as many of you know, the smaller the base the less stable at speed yet better turning/carving). Im thinking of going with the 46″ because its more stable with a backpack (i think) and with more weight…

They both are good boards, and i need a decision, the reviews on the web suck…

Whats your opinion?? thanks

Ps: i cant find a better category for this, yahoo answers has no area for this so im putting in transportation… sorry

A: The fish man,.

Q: Habitrail OVO loft for a syrian?
I know I have already asked this sorta thing yesterday, but im still totally un-decided.
So, Im getting a hamster in the next 3 weeks, and I’ve been looking at cages. I was pretty much decided on a 10-20 gallon tank with a tank-topper, but while looking through the pet store, I found this: http://www.habitrail.com/ovo/eng/products/habitats_loft.php?color=white
It is the largest habitrail cage on the market, and its actually bigger than it looks. Here are my main concerns about it:
♦ Not enough room in the loft, and that the hamster will grow and get stuck in the add-ons tubes. Then I’ll have to buy a whele new cage! :(
♦The wheel might not be big enough, and it doesnt look like their is enough room for a large hamster wheel.
♦I’ve read reviews that the water bottle is leaky, and you cant really get a new one for that cage.

So, those are my main concerns about the cage. I would like to know if I should get it, or just a tank. Answers from syrian hamster owners that have had this cage are greatly appreciated.
http://bit.ly/dklKR3
See, they are almost the same size.
Like I said, my main worries are that the hamster will outgrow the add-ons that I buy and that the wheel is *too* noisy.
This syrian hamster seems to fit in fine?:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRweqeFBOKA

A: Hey there,
I will be getting the same cage for my birthday next week and I have researched it over the top because I bought the Rotastar space commander cage a while ago and I hate it. It is not user friendly, especially since yours will be a new hamster so he won’t really come out but the habitrail is very good access to your pet (3 ways, back, front and top!) the water bottle stops leaking if you shake it 3 times (look on youtube) and unless your hamster gets ultra giant it won’t fit because the cage is made for syrians and the wheel is a perfect size( see site 3.) and my friends tell me the wheel is practically silent! I think it is the best cage to buy you can get it really cheap(see site 1.)

There is a free *habitrail* maze that will simulate you pet. The first cage I bought was just a basic starter pack with a plain(small) wire cage that I recommend you do because then you can buy the cage that you think will best suit your hammy’s personality or behaviour then upgrade. But thats just me be sure to extend if you start off with the loft because when he is small he will get used to space.

Q: For Twilight lovers: i wrote a funny version of Twilight called Twilaughter, do you want to read?
I wrote a funny version of Twilight called Twilaughter. It is kind of long but I was just wondering if Twilight lovers would enjoy it. Please be welcome to write reviews :) and i’m sorry if any one gets offended in anyway whatsoever, its supposed to be funny. Im not finished yet, by the way. OK HERE IT IS:

I was standing in the airport with my mom, ready to go to Forks, the wettest city in America. I loved being in Phoenix, sweating like a pig while dying from heat exhaustion.
“Bella, I’m so happy you’re leaving. I can finally have some alone time with Phil.”
I had to tell her yet again, how I felt about this.
“Yeah mom, I’m happy too. I’d rather hang out with Charlie than an old boring lady like you.” I walked away from her, not even looking back. I boarded the plane and couldn’t stop thinking. What if I was a nerd? What if people nicknamed me the short-paled freak? Will they notice the dead expression I have on my face all the time? Will they notice I have no emotions? All these questions drifted me to sleep until I hard the pilot’s voice saying we landed.
I grabbed my small suitcase and rolled to the Forks Airport. And then I wondered; why was this city named after an eating utensil? I shook it off and saw Charlie leaning against a pole.
“Hey Bella, let’s get this torture over with.” He led the way to his ugly police car and got it in. He turned on the sirens and started driving furiously.
“Aren’t sirens only used for emergencies?” I asked curiously. He looked frustrated and tightened his grip on the wheel. He started driving faster and glanced an evil look at me.
“Who’s driving, me or you?” He said as he ran through a red light going above 80 miles per hour. We finally parked in front of the familiar house I spent my summer at. I begged my mom not to come here once a year; the house was so repulsive and miniature. But she said I needed some time with Charlie (Just another excuse to be with Phil). I saw this repulsive, ugly orange truck parked next to us on the driveway that I didn’t recognize.
“What’s that car doing in the driveway? It should get a ticket for being so hideous.” I commented.
“That’s your graduation present. I got it cheap off a crippled guy so deal with it.”
Charlie was already inside the house while I took my suitcase out of the trunk and entered the ugly, cramped house. I started wheeling my suitcase up the stairs, letting it make a loud ‘thump’ noise as I walked up each step.
“Can you be quiet up there, I’m watching football!” I heard Charlie scream from the TV room. It was good to be home.
Luckily, Charlie doesn’t like to hover over me while I unpack and do my thing. I undid the curtains in front of the window, expecting to see a lot of greenery. All I could see was green, green, and more green. I tore the green construction paper off the window. Must be one of Charlie’s little pranks, he knows how much I hate that color, I thought. Behind the paper was a bunch of trees, hills, mountains, and nature…how disgusting. I was finally done unpacking and I rushed downstairs to see my dad opening the door and heading outside. I followed him and saw that crippled guy my dad was talking about in a wheelchair and a boy with long silky hair behind him. He looked like something out of a shampoo commercial…for women.
“Hey what’s up Billy, what brings you to our hood?” My dad asked the man in the wheelchair. The long haired boy behind him pushed the old man further up the driveway, straining, and probably breaking a sweat.
“Just came by to see how Bella likes that piece of trash you bought off of me.” He replied. I looked over at the boy who was now waving at me. I waved back and looked at the man named Billy.
“Old man, can you lose some weight? Or you’re going to be dragging yourself on two arms.” The long hair boy said in a disgusted voice. The man raised his hand up, signaling the kid to shut up. He awaited my answer about the truck.
“The trucks hideous. But anything’s better than being escorted in a police car with Charlie. He drives like he’s escaping from a cop rather than being one.” I exclaimed. I heard the boy behind Billy try to hide a giggle while Billy looked at me and smiled.
“Oh, I forgot to introduce you to my boy Jacob.” Billy said and pointed at the long haired kid. He waved at me, yet again.
“Sup’ Jacob?” I said and shook his hand.
“Just working out.” He replied, moving the wheelchair back and forth on the driveway. Billy gave him an evil look and asked Jacob to wheel him inside our house. They came inside and took up all of my free time. I wanted to go upstairs and study like the bookworm I am but Charlie told me to stay with the guests. Meanwhile, Jacob was always by my side, ready to lend a hand. When Charlie asked me to bring a glass of water, Jacob got up and got it for me. Convenient, but kind of annoying. Finally the day ended and Billy and Jacob left. Charlie looked at me after he shut the door.
“Go study.” He said
“Go study.” He said as he walked into the TV room again. I ignored his rudeness and went upstairs. I was too exhausted to read so I just lied in my bed and looked out the window. It started to pour rain, so I put my pillow on top of my face. I could hear the football game my dad was watching very clearly.
“Keep the volume down Charlie! I’m trying to drift away from hell!” I screamed. I heard the volume go down a tad but, but not much. I started drifting to sleep about a half an hour later, when the game finally ended. I remember awakening in the middle of the night when I heard Charlie’s thundering snoring.

I awoke to see nothing but gray outside. I touched the window to see if it was construction paper, but no it was all real. I changed into winter clothes and headed outside. I opened the door to my car and my side mirror fall off and shatter on the ground. I went inside to get some masking tape and taped it back in place with a frown on my face the whole time. A: My name is Isabella Swan and I am in love with VAMPIRE. I know, cool right? So, we were walking around the park looking into each other’s eyes when suddenly, I caught my fingernail on my woolen jumper and *snap*. I looked at my nail, tears brimming around my eyes as I felt like mourning for my broken nail.

I panicked. I would never let Edward leave me because he is my life and soul.
“Oh Edward I don’t care! I love you!” his head snapped up as he heard me telling him. He smiled at me and said,

“Very Well, we shall be together because I love you, Bella!”.

We walked together as we held hands. Suddenly, he let go to touch his beautiful hair and I tumbled down a hill and died because without Edward supervising my every move, I am a danger magnet therefore I can not live without him.
