Q: What colors should I paint my Dodge Charger? any ideas?
I just recently bought a White 07 Dodge Charger and i was thinking of giving it a two toned paint job. Would it be cheaper to keep the white either on top or sides and just paint the rest a different color? If so i would like to keep the white and paint the rest another color that compliments it well. I am going to put some 24s or 22s on it depending…. but i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what colors i should paint it. And if anyone has an idea on how much a good paint job might run me let me know.. I was thinking a Candy Orange on top and leave the white sides.. or maybe keep it simple and clean with Black Top with White sides and some chrome rims with black trimming… well if anyone has any ideas on what i could do to make my charger look sexy let me know………..thnx
A: dark red with flat black hood and spoiler and lettering

Q: Painting on Melt and Pour Glycerine Soaps?
Hi! I make soaps. Lots of diff ones and kinds, but have never tried painting. Am thinking of trying to paint on an embed, and wonder if I can color some opaque base, and paint onto white soap?
Any help is sure appreciated. I am trying to add red onto white candy cane embed sized soaps that I want to drop into a clearish bar. Thanks for any tips!~
I appreciate the long copy and paste answer, yet I KNOW I can do it with soap paint, I am asking if anyone has ever done it using, a different colored soap as THE paint!???
Anyone else? please! Thanks!
A: I think you could do that, paint directly on the embed, but let it cure for 24 hours before adding to your Clear Bar and be sure to use Soap Paint. Also, I’m sure you already know, let your fresh poured bar cool just slightly before adding your embed.
Here are some good basic technical suggestions for soap painting. I hope this helps, Good luck.
Painting on soap is not like painting on porous paper. Soap, particularly melt and pour, has a surface similar to oily glass.
If you experience difficulty getting the colors to adhere to melt and pour soaps, try dusting them with cornstarch. In other words, lightly sprinkle the starch onto the bar and then use a 3-4 inch household paintbrush to evenly dust the soap making sure you brush off any excess. The cornstarch will dry onto the surface of the soap allowing the paint something to hold onto.
Apply the paints in smooth even strokes. Take care not to “overwork” an area that’s already been painted. The base layer of paint will start drying immediately; too much over brushing with additional color will pull the drying paint away from the soap surface. Cold-process soap has more porosity and texture than melt and pour; therefore the paints adhere more easily to its surface.
If you wish to over paint with further layers of color, wait for 10 minutes or so until the base layer dries. You can hasten this process with a hair dryer, but take care to not melt the soap!
Milky Way soap paints dry to the touch in 10-15 minutes, but please allow the paints to thoroughly cure for 24 hours before using or wrapping the soap. Uncured paints will pull away from the soap surface.
If you have difficulty getting the paint to adhere by brushing, try dabbing it on. “Dry brushing” also works well. To dry brush, dip the brush lightly into the paint then wipe off any excess onto the rim of the paint pot. Apply with light, even strokes onto the soap; this will create a fine, feathery look to the paint.
Before tightening the lids on the paint pots, take a moment to wipe any extra paint off the threads of the lid or container; otherwise the paint dries and lightly glues the lid to the container.
Q: Who is the artist of the painting in which Jesus is being crucified holding presents?
It is a black and white painting. There is a mickey mouse, a candy cane and other things in the bag. There is also a circle over his head.
A: I’m not sure who that artist is, to me it sounds more or less like Gottfried Helnwein
http://www.helnwein.com/werke/leinwand/tafel_3.html
he does a lot of black and white with donald duck and sometimes with mickey in a very dark macabre style. But he doesn’t seem to incorporate objects such as candy canes, or other colorful items, that sounds like Michael Hussar

Q: Name of song?
I’m wondering what the name of this song is. I’m pretty sure it includes the rapper Mannie Fresh, but I can’t find the song title. It includes words like “candy paint, white t-shirt” and the line, “did I tell you that’s the best they make.” Thanks for the help!!!
A: “Everybody Get Your Roll On”
By Big Tymers (I think)
I don’t remember those lyrics in that song though, but it damn sure sounds like it.
Q: What color should I paint my bath room?
I love the colors red and white, and I love stripes, but my mom thinks it would be to much like a candy cane? I also like baby blue with sunflowers…
A: Well either could work. Depends on the color of red you choose:
if you do bright red and white you could do a retro barbershop type theme. Red striped pole, vintage wallpaper (shaving scenes), that kind of thing.
Or do a claret red and white striped shower curtain with a red rug, white curtains with red trim, and white or red towels. Then add black and white favorite photos framed in black or silver.
Or paint the walls red up to chair rail height. Do a bright tone with a darker glaze or vice versa. Wood chair rail and fluffy white towels and curtains. Pick up the red in guest soaps, washclothes and art work.
Just know that you will need to add a little accent to tone it down a bit………Use more than one shade of red to complement each other.
Do a deep cherry with white & cream accents. Framed Sepia prints of shoes, shopping or famous landmarks. Girly stuff.
Q: What colour paint would compliment aqua white leather sofa?
At the moment i have a cappucino candy colour on the wall but would like to change it for a darker colour. My wallpaper is a pale yellow colour with red/purple lillies.
The wall i want to change is cappuccino candy colour, i want to keep the colour along those lines as i have the wallpaper on the fireplace wall, 2 other walls match the background colour on the wallpaper which is pale lemon/yellow, the back wall facing directly opposite the wall papered fireplace is candy coloured one. i have purple/pink/lime cushions and 3 matching pictures of flowers on a wall. all wood and accessories are white as ive added the colours in on everything else.
A: I’m having trouble understanding your question are the walls cappuccino or are they wall papered or both?if its the wallpaper the obvious choice would be the pale yellow

Q: Black or White????

Q: How do you paint a model car?
I want to build model cars…
The last one I built… I tried to Paint it candy apple red (gold base coat, then transparent red) the color came out amazing, but there is a bumpy texture, the texture feels kinda like sandpaper.
How do I flatten it?
If I sand a white model car, do I need to spray primer first? (talking plastic ones here and enamel paint)
Do I HAVE to apply a clear-coat? Money is kinda tight and the car will likely just stay on my shelf. I may do a clear-coat later in life, sometime after the recession.
And is spray paint cheaper at autozone or micheals?
A: The bumpy texture is one of two probable problems:
1) Orange peel is caused by humidity in the air when spraying, OR if there are finger oils and such on the car.
2) Sand-paper finish is usually because you haven’t shaken the can enough (10-15 minutes)… or the nozzle is slightly dirty.
I ALWAYS primer first… and have several colors of primer… red, white, and grey !
Since you’re painting CARS… You don’t really need a clear-coat since you’re already using a gloss finish.
GOOD LUCK and sorry the first answerer is unhelpful
Q: What color should I paint my room?
http://kohls.com/kohlsStore/bedandbath/brandsforbed/candies/PRD~c9032/Candies+Isadora+Bedding+Coordinates.jsp
The above link shows the current bedding I have. The only difference is that I don’t have the turquoise pillows.
My bedroom furniture is white, the carpet is a neutral tan color.
What would be a good accent pillow color, as well as a color to paint the whole room?
A: play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the “painted” rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:
http://www.sherwin.com/visualizer/
I think “sockeye” (# 6619) might be a good choice.
You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:
http://www.roomvues.com/
You can get color suggestions & for $5 they’ll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
Q: How can we expect our african american youth to rise above when the people they idolize rap things like this?
Ludacris “Obama Is Here” Lyrics
I’m back on it like I just signed my record deal
Yeah the best is here, the Bentley Coup paint is dripping wet, it got sex appeal
Never should have hated, You never should’ve doubted him
With a slot in the president’s iPod Obama shouted ‘em
Said I handle my biz and I’m one of his favorite rappers
Well give Luda a special pardon if I’m ever in the slammer
Better yet put me in office, make me your vice president
Hillary hated on you, so that bitch is irrelevant
Jesse talking slick and apologizing for what?
If you said it then you meant it how you want it head or gut?
And all you other politicians trying to hate on my man,
watch us win majority vote in every state on my man
You can’t stop what’s bout to happen, we bout to make history
The first black president is destined and it’s meant to be
The threats ain’t fazing us, the nooses or the jokes
So get off your ass, black people, it’s time to get out and vote!
Paint the White House black and I’m sure that’s got ‘em terrified
McCain don’t belong in any chair unless he’s paralyzed
Yeah I said it cause Bush is mentally handicapped
Ball up all of his speeches and just throw ‘em like candy wrap
’cause what you talking I hear nothing even relevant
and you the worst of all 43 presidents
Get out and vote or the end’ll be near
The world is ready for change because Obama is here
’cause Obama is here
The world is ready for change because Obama is here, yeah
cuz Obama is here
A: If young blacks are idolizing things like this, its because they were not raised to value the correct things by their parents/guardians. Dont blame rap for the failings of black parents across the board. Stop taking the easy way out and shifting the blame, challenge black parents to step up and get involved in their kids lives
Q: Does anyone here remember candy cigarettes?
They were white tubes, a lot like a mint in texture, with a burning tip painted at the end.
How many remember them?
A: Yes I do. They came 6 in a little box. Those were in the days when you actually could buy penny candy. There were wax lips and little wax soda bottles filled with sugar water, dots of candy on strips of paper like adding machine paper, pumpkin seeds, jaw breakers, licorice whips, Bazooka bubble gum, red licorice “pennies”, ice cream cones with the marshmellow stuff on top, Good and Plenty, Snickers that were caramel like candy swirled with some kind of white stuff not like the Snickers candy bars of today, those long suckers that came in chocolate, vanilla and strawberry, Sugar Babies, Slow Pokes, Chickles, Beeman’s Gum…
I remember going to the neighborhood store with a quarter and coming out with a small brown paper bag of candy and being quite happy with my treasures!
Thank you for bringing that all back to mind today. You made me smile!
Q: If i sell a handmade candy jar with stickers on it, would that be considered copyright infringement?
I’m going to this event called ‘Sorehead Days’ and basically its an over-sized flea market where people sell arts and crafts that they made at their houses and whatnot. My mom and I have decided we are gonna sell these handpainted candy jars that look like bubble gum machines. The only problem is, is that we don’t know if we will be able to sell some due to copyright infringement.
For instance we are making a Hersheys one with stickers we found at a crafts store
And we are making an M&M one where we hand painted wooden balls and painted white m’s on them
And i’m also making a Hannah Montana one with stickers that I found at the craft store as well.
Basically i was just wondering if any of this would fall under copyright infringement? Personally I dont think so but then again i’m not totally familiar with these kinds of things
I asked this question yesterday but kept getting replies about ‘counterfeit’. and how its like fake handbags and fake rolex watches But we are not making them look like genuine Hersheys, M&M or disney products.. it is just for fans of the stuff. like a little girl might want a customized Hannah Montana. Along with that we would probably put the girls name on it with sitckers and such. It is just a little arts and crafts product.
Thanks.
A: Unfortunately, I think you might be in violation of trademark rules. Whether you think your products look like an official product or not isn’t up to you. Any possibility that a customer might somehow think it is official is grounds for trouble.
I once worked with a company which wanted to do pretty much the same thing as you, except they wanted to use logos of college sports teams on their products. Like you, they planned to purchase stickers or stencils to do this.
Eventually their legal department looked into it and it was determined this would (or could potentially, anyway) lead to lawsuits. The plan was abandoned.
BUT…you might be able to get away with showing customers samples of what the jars look like after they’re decorated and selling them all the supplies so they can make one themselves. That way you aren’t selling a pre-made thing which implies the endorsement of Hershey’s or the Hannah Montana folks, etc.
