Q: Can you put dual turbo chargers on an 87 mustang gt? can you put triple turbos?
not planning on doing it. im planning to put on a supercharger but im just wondering. can u put on dual turbos? triple turbos? and how do/would you do it?

A: Yes you can, the current fastest car in the world the bugati veryon has 4 turbo chargers. Like said previously, the trick is to have enough cooling and exhaust gasses to run the turbos. To keep it cool the veryon has 10 radiators, yes 10!!!

P.S. before anyone comments, I know I spelled the name of the bugati veryon wrong, I admit it, I never came close to winning any spelling bees as a kid or as an adult for that matter.

Q: What is the difference between single and twin/triple/quad etc turbo?
What are the pros and cons of a single turbo versus more?

A: A single turbo sucks in more air, and is simpler to maintain. However, you’ll notice the “turbo lag” more than twin turbos.

Twin turbo are usually designed to operate at different RPM ranges to smooth out power delivery and eliminate turbo “lag”. It may not deliver as much overall power as a single larger turbo, but it should give more consistent performance across all RPM ranges.

Q: Could i put a triple turbo setup in a 2009 hayabusa?

A: could you? YES, would it be worth it? NO

why put 3 turbos on a 4 cylinder? go with 1 turbo per cylinder, or just 1 turbo…that way your plumbing is easier.

if you’re running turbos on a second gen busa, you’re going to want to extend the swingarm (a lot) and get at least a 200 series tire on it…obviously drag racing.

Q: What does “$3.00 NL Hold’em turbo Triple Shootout” mean?
Does that mean that there’s only 3 players on each table?

A: In a regular tournament, you always keep the tables as full as possible, breaking tables along the way. A shootout tournament means you play each table to a winner, and that winner moves onto the next round.

Triple shootout means you’ll have to win 3 tables to win the thing. The amount of tables to begin depend on how many people per table. Could be 6, could be 9, could be 10…

You didn’t really think it meant 3 people on the table, did you?

Q: I am fermenting sugar wine and have used Turbo Carbon. It turned the mixture black. How do I make it clear?
Do I boil the mixture afterwards? I used Turbo Yeast Triple Distilled yeast, and added the Turbo Carbon. How can I make it clear instead of black? And if I boil it how do make sure I don’t boil the alcohol? What is the boiling temperature of alcohol? Because when I put wine in spaghetti bolognaise it boils the alcohol out of the wine, I don’t want this to happen when I’m distilling my sugar wine.

A: You are following a really strange recipe. Firstly, boiling your “wine” will get rid of the alcohol before anything else. Secondly, condensing what you boil off to save the alcohol is illegal and not worth the risk. Try letting the mix sit and hope that the carbon precipitates out. Then siphon off (rack) the liquid. If that fails, filter. I normally recommend not filtering because you also filter out the taste; in this instance, you have nothing to lose.

Q: I am trying to give my 1984 300zx turbo more H.P.,and I heard about triple webers.Where can I get ‘em?
Do I have to have them specially put on.Or are there any other options for H.P. boost??

A: trip base and reverse camber i think are two different catagories. jus cuz the reverse camber is bout the form of the deck n the trip base is bout hte core build. but if ur lookin for a allround deck id snag da Skate banana

Q: triple gauge pod advice?
hi, i have an 87 supra turbo, and have been doing minor things here and there, i got myself a triple gauge, and wanted some advice of what gauges to get, i already have a boost gauge in the dash so i dont really want another, becuase as of right now, i wont be making more than 8 or 9 lbs of boost =P i was thinking some simple stuff like a volt meter ect.? any advice of some usefull gauges to get? thanks =]

A: All depends on what you want to monitor. I have no idea what kind of driving you do so it’s hard to say exactly what you’ll need.

But a Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge is almost always a good idea. A Exhaust Gas Temp gauge can be a useful tool when you have a turbo.

Of course accurate engine temp’s are good for preventing catastrophic engine damage from overheating.

There are plenty of others to choose from that you might need more depending on your driving style.

Q: Looking for a chip for my early 04 cummins?
I’ve got a 04 cummins (early 04, not the 600 series), and I’ve had the chance to try three chips so far. Tried the Banks Six Gun with Power PDA. Was decent but didnt like the power gains. Then I tried the Bullydog Triple Dog. It had great power but around 2700 rpm, the injector pump started starving for fuel. Then I tried the Bullydog Power Pup early version downloader. It had awesome power, didnt starve my injection pump, and made the most improvement on my fuel mileage. Also starting to look at the TST powermax box, the Edge Juice, and the Dr. Performance Predator. If anybodys used any of these or has a pretty hot running cummins, I’d appreciate any info on the subject. Future mods will be larger turbo, injectors, twin disc clutch, and FASS system. Thanks.

Q: will an rx7 13b non-turbo s5 bolt up to a s4 tranny and chassis?
I have an 88 rx7 and I want to triple check everything before I go yanking that s4 motor out and try to put in the s5. This is my first experience with rotary motors and I’m not 100 percent sure on everything. I’ve been a honda guy for 8 years. So this is why. Anyway, I’m using the s4 tranny and wanting to use the s5 engine both are non-turbo and just want to make sure they’ll work. PLEASE ONLY RESPOND IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT

Q: Should my husband and I file taxes jointly or separately?
I have heard a million times over to file taxes jointly with your spouse. However, every time I do taxes on Turbo Tax when I add his income in the tax due is TRIPLES or QUADRUPLES but our income only had doubled. I don’t understand! Where are the benefits?

We have no dependents, own our home, and earn the same amount of money as full-time public school teachers. Are there really benefits to filing jointly?

A: The married filing separately rates are much higher. If one itemizes both have to. When you only have one person’s income you would be low income get all the deductions and exemptions so pay very little tax. When your family income doubles you aren’t in the low brackets with any of the attentional money.

Q: why people never believe me when i say that it’s possible to build a 900hp 2005+ mustang gt?
i’ve built one along with one turbo specialist and 3 mechanichs from ford dealership in toronto

and now i’m driving it. and it’s smooth and fun to drive.
it’s semi-automatic and my even my mom can drive it with no problems.

it has a 1200hp capable teksid block and 1300hp capable rotating assembly.
it has been bored and stroked to 5.2 litres.
there is a 67mm twin turbo @20.3psi on top of it and a triple zex maximizer nitrous.
has been tuned to make 912hp on the crank and is capable of 1200hp with a slightly agressive tune.

so why people never believe me on that one???
why dont they understand that not only lambos, ferraris and bugattis are fast??
why do they send me stuid mesages telling me that it’s impossile to have a 900hp on a 2007 mustang gt?
why are they telling me that a mustang gt cant have that much power just cause it’s $37 000 stock at the dealership?

that really hurts my feelings and i wanna know the truth behind it so please answer seriously.

A: I think people know a 900hp stang is possible I just think that they dont believe you actually own one. There are so many ppl on this site that state complete b.s. just to make there argument stronger even though not one thing they say has and fact to it what so ever. Anyone can copy a bunch of fancy lingo out of car mag and say there car has it. The only way you can truely prove it is to make a video of you standing next to your car with then rotate so we can see inside the hood and look at the engine then show us the dyno for it. Under “source” when you answer a question post the adress where the video can be viewed. Until then it will be hard to get anyone to believe you because of all the b.s. thrown around on this site. I dont know if you give a crap or not, but you have posted on a lot of the same subjects I have and you have always been honest, so personally I believe you. You have never given me a reason not to. Anyways in the end, who cares what some other people say, you are the one at the end of the day who gets to drive a kick ass 900hp mustang, cant beat that

Q: Should I trust Turbo Tax re: Education (Hope) Credit?
This is my first time using Turbo Tax and I had a lot of financial changes this year – changed jobs (earning 1/3 less than previous 5 years) and went to school (tuition 1/4 of salary, which I paid with no other aid). I filled out turbo tax using my 2 W-2s and 1098-T and after entering my education info my refund tripled! (from what it had said before and from what I normally recieve) Does this sound right? On the 1040A from Turbotax I have the same number for lines:
38 (tax withheld from W-2)
43 (total payments)
44 (how much I overpaid)
45a (my refund)
and said my effective tax rate was 0.00% Does this mean I am not paying any taxes and will owe big time next year? It did prepare the 8863 form for me.

A: Dear Holly: Sounds correct, but you can get a second opinion at H&R Block and their free calculator.

The 0% effective tax rate says you are doing good, being able to reduce your taxes to pretty much nothing. Good work. This is just a feature of the software and does not transmit to the IRS.

Q: Big Brown at Belmont (Triple Crown race)?
I’ve been watching Big Brown (check the videos below) and I think that he is a real race horse. I think he is a freak of nature (with a turbo button –white patch- to boost) and that we are in the presence of greatness, but that’s just my opinion.

What’s your opinion? Is the 3YO field weak this year (can you show evidence of this)?

Can Casino Drive really take him at the Belmont Stakes? I’ve enclosed the only two races that CD has been in. Does he impress you as much as BB? I know he has the pedigree for the distance, but can he really beat the “Freak”?

Can Dennis of Cork really pull it out? He finished fifth at Illinois and a far third at the K-Derby. Does he really have it in him? What about Macho Again?

What about BB’s front feet (can they handle all this running)? In the challenge of a “game” race can he really win a duel? What do you think?

A: Nope, Big Brown not a sure thing for the Belmont. Casino Drive isn’t the only horse in the Belmont with good breeding for the distance, so it could go to an overlooked longshot. Like the guy above me said Big Brown has a quarter crack now. Maybe the crack isn’t such a big deal, but he’s missed 2 or 3 days of training and is gonna miss some more.

Big Brown hasn’t earned The Freak title. He won five races against weak horses. If you need evidence of the KD fields weakness look at their Beyer Speed ratings and mediocre preps. The Preakness was worse, it was downright pitiful. Big Brown was the only horse in it that had won a Grade 1 race. The only other graded stakes winners were Gayego with a G2 and Hey Byrn with a G3.

A freak of nature is horses like Secretariat. He won 16 races in 18 months. He set record times in the Derby and Belmont that stand to this day.
