A: In most cases you have to Pick your car then go pick ( or shop) for what you want to do with said car.

4 years ago Scion sold out to Toyota and became the 1st and ONLY car dealer you could pick your Tuner options and it would come from the factory that way. Yes A Tuner car from the factory.

Factory Tuner from Honda is my fav . but almost no options except for the tires All season or Summer grip

a few others are trying to do the same but just seems they can’t fill what the customers want. Like KIA Forta coupe & Soul, Hyundai, Toyota (you’d think they would learn from Scion) but they are trying with the Corolla S but failing.

There are a few models breaking over to the Tuner Style and performance but I need more time to shop… Email if you need more to shop for.

Q: Whats a good reliable tuner car for around $3500?
I have a 94 Celica ST with a 2.2L inline 4 engine that I swapped, but still its an automatic and I would much rather have a manual and I want to get into tuner cars.

I am selling it and now looking for ideas for a good tuner car around $3500, I would prefer no mustangs or American muscle, I’m more into import cars. (No offense to you american muscle drivers!) :)

I would like a car that is reliable like my celica that really has no problems.

If you would please give me like a list of cars not only one car at a time. Also I would like it to be a sedan not like a civic hatchback :)

Also please add why these cars are good and just basic stuff.

A: ive seen 100s of preludes and i think those prices are lil outrageous I HIGHLY recommend that you get something that is in Great Mechanical condition or adequate for the mods. Here is what that part of the list should look like

again these are the prices for a prelude thats in good enough shape to handle high-performance mods.

I’m making a picture with GIMP and I can’t decide what car I should use here are some list of cars that I’m thinking of using

A: I LOVE a Lamborghini Gallardo … but it has been used in a lot of pictures…. But I just saw the Cadillac Cien in Google images and it looks so beautiful that I would kill for that car!!! I would say the Cadillac Cien for sure!!!…

Q: Which sporty looking tuner car should I get, that looks good stock?
First car, I’m getting a car loan (don’t talk me out of it, I know what I’m doing), but I’m not sure which car to get. I’ve listed some cars I like the looks of, but then again…I’m kinda on a $2000-$4000 budget, give or take.

Now that I try to find them, I can’t find any of the cars I liked. Well, those are a few, not exactly what I wanted. Just something sporty looking, I’m NOT looking to increase horsepower or anything, just buy the best shocks, enhance the driving performance, and make it look good. I don’t plan on racing, I just like to look kinda cool. I also don’t like Mustangs or Porches or Ferrarrie’s, those, in my opinion, are poser cars :P

A: well this all depends if you want a reliable or 2 door car

if your going to get a cobalt get it 2 door,

if you want reliability, try a 1999 civic si coupe

fast and cool but not much reliable, 3000gt but for that price it will have high miles

or try to get a 89 rx7

or you could try a 2003 tiburon, cheap, sporty, and kinda fast

Q: what is a good tuner car?
i am looking for a cheap tuner car. any car. i am thinking of getting a old BMW e30 or something or a 240sx. i would like a list of some good tuner cars i can get used for $2000 and under.

A: Yeah man, e30 and e36 bmw’s, GTI’s, Miata’s, crx’s, prelude’s, MR2’s, Jetta’s, Focus’, 240sx’s. Personally, I prefer the construction and layouts of German cars, but it’s all about you man.

so basically ive gout a few grand for a car. im obviously looking to buy used and i want to get into the tuner scene. Never bought a car so im lookin for some input from some one who has. im lookin for somethin i can work on but not necesarily a project car. i dont want a list of cars either, i want an opinion. im tryin to get this within the next couple days, so the faster answer the better.

A: If you want a car that can go very quickly with little money than look for a Fox Body Mustang or an old LT1 Camaro/Firebird(aka F-body). That will take you a LOT less effort to build it into something fast since they(well the F-bodies) are already fairly powerful(like 300HP).

Something like a Civic or a Del Sol will be HORRIBLY slow until you soup it up and for the same amount of money it takes to make it respectable you could have the Camaro running 12s at a track.

Q: Decent tuner cars for under $10 000?
I’m just looking for a list or for some suggestions of decent quality import cars that cost under $10 000. Anything capable of minor (or even some major) engine modifications. I’m more interested in a car that looks good however, rather than just something that can be sooped up.

A: Cobalt ss turbo or supercharged (depending on the conversion rate). Though…FWD. If you need AWD get a subaru wrx. Both are fairly modular vehicles.

I already have a mustang 5.0 big block supercharged sitting in my shed, so i don’t want american muscle! i want to get into tuners because they are affordable and very efficient on gas, unlike my mustang!
Please give me a list of some good cars to tune, i dont like civic hatchs or 240 sx’s they are ugly to me! i like eclipse and stuff of the bigger tunners!

all are 4 door, all will beat the Civic SI like a redheaded step child. None have reasonable insurance, but the cobalt is the cheapest, gets the best fuel economy and is one of the fastest besting all but the EVO on the last track test I saw. They also set the Nuremberg ring record for a front driver.

I’m interested in getting a Japanese Import/Tuner, but I’m not sure what to get! Can someone give me a list of Japanese Imports that are either All Wheel Drive (AWD) or Rear Wheel Drive (RWD)?

Obviously all of these are not in my price range i dont beleive but its w/e. I am looking for a tuner car clearly, and it needs to be safe, affordable, and airbags.
Please tell me what MODEL AND YEAR i should get.

A: You have covered the main tuner cars,although not all of them have airbags due to there age.
Another option is prob go for a vip look car ,which are still popular worldwide as a tuner car,but offers more features as in airbags more tech aircon climate control,at the end of the day coupes only have a basic setup of gadgets.
One i would say is the infiniti i30 i had the UK version on the 96 reg which is the same as the US version,we had a crash in this whilst it smashed the other car to the point of box size ,my rear end suffered a crack across the back light and a 1 inch size dent.also the car carries 2 airbags,other tuner version is the US Nissan maxima which the i30 is based on although the US versionis slightly smaller.
Other great options would be the 180sx great tuneable car and roomy enough for passengers..the s14 a14a silvia 300zx z32,100nx,almera,GTI-R.240sx,BMW 3 Series,5 series,Honda Prelude,accord,civic, Mazda rx7 ,mx5,mx3,323,,,Mitsubishi FTO,GTO,GT,Eclipse,Lancer Evo,galant Subaru impreza wrx,impreza turbo.Toyota corolla,celica,celica gt4,supra older versions included,VW golfs ,carrado.

I picked a few cars which are about the same price limit where i live,but again also try the VIP look also with mercs ,infinti , BMW etc.
years wise will depend on your budget really,as this will decide on the range of choice you have,but the ones i pick have a great all round name spaning a good few yeras and models.
