Q: What cold air intake is in brians 95 eclipse from fast and furious?
i need to know what kind of intake he has and if possible other specs too thanx

A: they never performance tuned the eclipse so the standard one! in the film they said motec exhaust, standelone fuel management system etc, but it didnt really have that stuff just painted engine cover etc. note right at the very start of the film it has fake drilled discs in the back! ( they simply stick on over existing brakes) the only main jap car they tuned for the film was the supra (about 550bhp)

so im looking to build an eclipse similar to the one from fast and furious but im having a hell of a time finding what they used on the outside and the interior, so i can use all the help possible!

what is brians setup in his mitsubishi eclipse from fast and furious? in the beginning when he is at the stadium driving his car. what is he using to get that pretty sound. intake, exhaust, turbo any info is great

A: I think he has either the RS or GS, the 420a engine with a t3/t4 turbo, What “pretty sound” are you talking about? If anything its probably the turbo spooling or the bov.

Q: What blow off valve is used on the sound clip of the green eclipse in the fast and furious?
I was wondering what blow off valve was used for the sound for the green eclipse in the fast and furious. I heard that it was recorded from Greg Leones supercharged crx off of true life.

A: Sometimes it sounded like a Greddy type-s and sometimes sounded like a HK$ SS. (The green eclipse was actually a non-turbo rs)

i’ve completely made a replica of the car, and all im missing is the spoiler.

i know its like the aluminum kind. i’ve seen close up pictures of the spoiler and it seems like it says AP on the sides of the spoiler.

If you do, then do you happen to know the modifications it had? I’m looking into producing a similar engine but don’t know the mods. I’m specifially looking into the distinctive engine noise and the dump valves. Can anyone direct me into the right direction with the parts they used on it? I mean the SPECIFIC parts. Thanks!

Q: fast n furious eclipse rc help !!!?
I bought a 1:6 mitsubishi eclipse rc car from the movie fast and the furious and i bought it from a person on craigslist. They said everything was included that i needed to make it run. Well there was no charger for the battery though one was suppose to come with it. I have gone to over 15 stores to see if they can either find a charger for it or get a new battery and so far no luck. Since this is a special charger I can only get it from the company that made the car, So does any one know what company made them ???
Like I have said in my previous statement I have been to many store to help with my problem. The problem with this rc car is the battery and 3 connectors and can only be charged with original charger which I have to buy from manufacturer, so all I need to know is what company makes these rc cars ?

A: Most electric RC cars have a tamiya connector. If yours has it, you just need to get a charger from a hobby store that services RC cars.

I came across some info. saying that the Eclipse is 1995. I always thought it was 1999 because it seems more sensible to have the latest car.

A: Yes it was indeed a souped up 1995 because the 1995 had the 8 cylinder engine.

A: paul walker drove a 1996 eclipse in the first fast and the furious movie. and as far as the supra goes you would have to order something like that from over seas.

A: My 95 Eclipse looks like this in black. It’s slightly modified. When my car got hit from behind by a big a$$ Dodge Ram in the middle of rush hour Chicago traffic, the insurance covered the damages and bought the aftermarket parts. Here’s the link for the body kit:

hey im trying to buy and build a remake of the mitsubishi eclipse from the movie fast and the furious but i need more info before i begin. i need to know the name of the body kit and a list of the parts they put on the one from the movie i would like to pretty much use everything they used in the movie and ill add my uniqueness myself later if you have any idea of a web site that tells me everything they used it would be helpful or you can reply with everything you know thanks a lot

A: There was a book IIRC was called “The Cars of the Fast and The Furious” by Eddie Paul, the guy who built them. It has every bit of information you need to clone that abortion.

If you play the DVD, and freeze frame the scene where you see it with the hood up, you’ll note it’s powered by a 420a. (Which I’ve seen 1000, at least). It is NOT a 4g63t (which I own five of NOW)

The best scene in the movie was when it exploded. I HATE those miserable oil leaking, window rattling, ball joint breaking pieces of sh1t.
