Q: does anyone else not like the new BMW body style?
I have 2002 bmw with only 56000 miles on it and I love everything about it for two years that iv owned it no problems. My girlfriend says she likes the new body on the coupes but I like my coupe 330 more I mean they are practicaly same cars diffrent body do u guys not like the new bodies(e92) more?

A: I agree with you ilke the e46 body style because i don’t like the new face lift

Q: what is the difference in body styles of the bmw 3 series years 2001-2004?
i was deciding whether to buy a 2001 330xi or 2004 325i

A: They share the same e46 chassis and you won’t find any significant changes in the body panels. The headlights, sidemarkers and the front skirt have had a few minor tweeks.

The obvious and largest different between the two are the engines and the drive trains. The 330xi denotes a 225-230hp 3.3 liter engine with all wheel drive. The 325i is a 185hp 3.25 liter rear wheel drive.

If the mileage is roughly the same I would go for the 330xi over the slightly newer 325i. You’ll definitely notice the extra horsepower and you’ll gain some control and winter forgiveness from the all wheel drive system.

Q: When did then change the body style of the bmw 3 series?
05,06,07 am not sure. I want to get one but am gonna get the first year of the new body style. Someone let me know TY

A: The e90 3 series sedan started with model year 2006.

The e92 3 series coupe didn’t go on sale until September 2006 as a 2007 model year car. I drove a 335i coupe before the official launch.

The older e46 3 series coupes and convertibles were sold during 2006.

There is no correct Y/N to that question. BMW changed the different versions of the 3 series at different times. Sedan, Coupe or Convertible?. Are you asking Model Year or the Launch Date when the first cars showed up at dealers?

Sedan — Model Year 2006 Launch Date Sept. 2005
Coupe — Model Year 2007 Launch Date Sept 2006
Convertible — Model Year 2007. Launch Date. Feb 2007

M3 — Model Year 2008. Launch Date March 2008

Q: Does anyone miss the old BMW Body Style’s? ?
Say 1989-1999. Didn’t they really start changing the body in 2000?

I wish BMW would go back to the classic, Vintage look.

It actually took me awhile to get used to the new body’s – but now I think they’re beautiful & nothing drives as fun as a Bimmer :)

I mean I’ve seen a clean white 1989 535i and it’s more gorgeous to me than any other car on the road. I think BMW would be ’smart’ to create a ‘new’ but vintage looking Bimmer.

What do you Bimmer fanatics think?

Yes, they all have great looks…….. except for any X series or new one. I already own the greatest BMW on the planet, an e10.

A: Can you be a tad bit specific? Do you mean the 5 series? If so, then yes, the 2011 5 series will be completley redesigned from head to toe. The 528i sedan officially came out for sale about an hour ago at a national MSRP of $44,550. The 2011 535i and 550i have been out for sale for the past month. New BMW’s coming to US shores include the 2011 BMW X1 compact SUV and soon to come in 2011 a completley redesigned BMW 6 series coupe and convertible as well as a M version of the 2011 BMW 5 series sedan aswell as a new generation of the 3 series will come in a year or two.

Q: how often has the BMW 325ci changed body style?
Id like to know how many generations there are of this car and how to tell them apart by year

A: Go to any BMW website to telle the difference in generations, they are not mistakeable.

E30 Body from 1987 to 1993
E36 Body from 1996 – 1999
E46 Body from 2000 – 2006 (Face lift in 2004) Nose Grill slightly modified
E93 Body from 2007 – current

Q: When will BMW change the body style of the x5?

A: The BMW X5 E70 was introduced in 2007 and will be changed again in 2016.
a facelift can be done after 4-5 years.(just minor changes)

Q: What is the difference in BMW 525 iT and 325 iT wagons in body styling? The year I am looking at is 2003/04.?
I have seen several older (2003-2005) BMW wagons that I love. I like the sportier look, not long and sleek, and am not sure what model that is. Any help appreciated!

A: I have a 99 528it wagon and i think the 5 series has much more swagger in its design…..It’s timeless.

It’s so funny whenever I pull up besides some tree hugger in their brand new Subie Wagon and they look over with desire.

Q: BMW e36 body styling?
I have a front splitter and a rear spoiler i need spraying and fitting also a small amount of bubble rust on rear wheel arch i’d like sorting out.Anyone have any idea how much this is likely to cost me?Thanx
All right calm down im 100% with you on this.Its not a giant whale tail spoiler its all genuine bmw bits,im 27 and im not a boy racer,all novas,corsas,saxos etc should be blown off the face of the earth.

A: Ignorance always raises its head whenever car modification is mentioned. Anyway, You’re looking at at least 400 quid.

Q: what is the year range for the bmw e34 body style? is it 89-95?

A: In. the United States, E34s were from 89-95. E39s were from 97-03. There were no 96 5 series exported to the US. Europe had 96 E39s though.

Q: When will the BMW 3 Series have a body style change?

A: The BMW 3 series had its body style changed in 2006 to a more modern, aggressive look. Seeing as how previously, the body hadn’t changed significantly for over 10 years, I’d say it will take a while until the 3 series has a new body style change. The M3 just came out, which is a bit sportier version of the 3 series, and it has a slightly different body.

Q: what year did BMW last change their body style on their 328 sedan model? Was it 2006 or 2005 or some diff yr?

A: Actually, the 328i and 328xi were reintroduced in 2007. They replaced the 325i and 325xi engines that had been in the 3 series since 2001. Before 2001 the 328 was the biggest of the engines offered on the 3 series excluding the M line. The 328 is now the smallest engine and is offered along with the 335i and 335xi.
As a side note x denotes awd for a BMW in which it is called X Drive

Q: What is the difference between BMW z4 roadster and BMW z4 M Coupe?
Ok, so I absolutely love the body style on the BMW z4 but when I went to the site to look at colors it showed me the roadster and the coupe. The body looked identical from the pictures available. Is it something with the engine or interior? What are the prices for each? Is there any structural difference or what?

A: The obvious difference between the roadster and coupe is one is a convertible, the other is not (the coupe is not a convertible!). The “M” car gives you the motor-sport engine option. 333hp versus the 225hp 3.0. An M Coupe versus a regular coupe, obviously more money for the M.

Q: can you put a bmw m3 gtr body kit on a bmw e46 2dr?
they look like they have the same body style the difference is in the engine and tags.. i love those fender flares on the gtr..
